Baby Carrots
with Fresh Dill

This honey glazed carrot recipe with the accent of fresh dill is sure to become one of your favorites. Especially since it's so easy to make! This is truly a baby carrot recipe; trying to make this with big carrots won't be as easy or come out as well.

Cook carrots in boiling and salted water (8 minutes, maybe a little less depending on how crisp you like your carrots. I usually put them in the microwave for about 5 minutes because I like carrots on the crunchier side, but basically you want steamed carrots to your liking.) Drain well. Heat butter on med. high heat. Add everything but the dill and cook for 3-4 minutes to turn those ordinary steamed carrot into delicious honey glazed carrots. Season with salt & pepper. Toss with dill & serve.

Ingredients

1 1/2 lb fresh baby carrots
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. fresh dill, minced
1 tsp sugar or honey
grated zest & juice of 1 orange
salt, pepper to taste

Serves 4
