Passover Brownies

Yummy chocolate desserts for Passover simply must include a chocolate brownie, right? This recipe for Passover Brownies is both easy to make and delicious.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Melt chocolate & margarine over hot water in a double boiler or using microwave.

Cool.

Beat eggs & salt until very thick gradually beat in sugar.

Beat in cooled chocolate mixture.

Mix in cake meal gradually, beat until well blended

Stir in nuts.

Spread batter evenly in a well greased 8 in square pan

Bake for 20 - 25 min.

Cut while warm, cool in pan.

 

 


Ingredients

3 1/2 oz Bittersweet chocolate

1/4lb margarine

2 eggs

1/8 tsp. salt

2/3 c sugar + 1/2 c. cake meal (1c for double)

1/2 c walnuts. choc chips optional
